Sister Session Sneak Peek :)

Today I had the pleasure of meeting Aly and Alexandra. Two sisters, both amazing. Maybe I'm biased since I share my full name with one, and my nickname with the other ;). With both of them doing there communion in April, their lovely Aunt decided she wanted them to have their own session. Let me tell you I had an awesome time today. They even came with their own entourage. That's right Aly and Alex came with mom, both aunties, and grandma. Not to mention I didn't have a puppy sister today, so Padmé came along with me.

Now on a side note... Just yesterday I found out I (along with another lovely photographer) won a contest The Maternal Lens was hosting. For a while now I had been trying to win Michelle Kane presets since my budget didn't allow me to splurge on them at the moment (try to move and all isn't easy on the pockets ;] )
So I entered for the umpteenth time another contest, and to my surprise I won!!!! I'm not the type who wins anything, but I didn't dwell too much on that, instead I skipped around with joy like a little kid. Long story short, the MK actions were sent to me today, just in time to debut in todays session. I love them. They really did make everything simpler.

Now its time to go to bed. Goodnight everyone! Hope you enjoy the peak!

Sasha & Erick's E-Session Sneak Peek

I had the pleasure this past Sunday of shooting an old highschool class mates engagement session. Sasha first approached me last year asking about my services and when she told me it was for her, I was thrilled. I love getting to be apart of peoples lives, and its all the more sweeter when you know the person your working with already. I first met Erick when I ran into them about a year ago, little did I know I'd be part of their big day. :)

Here are a few sneak peeks of their E-Session. E

The Savvy Photographer Give Away!

Hey everyone. Most people who know me know once I start searching online for stuff I can go on for hours. So when I find a great photographers blog, or Etsy page, or blog, I can spend forever looking at all their posts. I get all excited and say "totally want that!" or "one day I'll like somewhere where I can do that" , or "next DIY project for sure!". Lol. A few months back I saw Michelle Kane's Facebook biz page and had myself a look. Such awesome work, and she makes actions for PS! So awesome. I've been dying to get my hands on her set but all in due time I suppose. Then She posted a link to day about "The big giveaway is going on at The Savvy Photographer blog! $2000 prize to a lucky winner. And included are the hearty actions by Michelle Kane along with soooo many awesome things by many other photogs, ps pros, diy queens! I mean i'd be set for quite a while! Not to mention I never win anything so ow awesome would it be? Pretty cool. :)

So I'm trying my best to spread the word. I wish I liked twitter. I hope not having one won't cost me a possible spot!

So go check out Michelle Kane, her wonderful actions and The Savvy Photographer. And some of the other awesome vendors I've recently discovered. :)

Erenis' Bridal Shower

I had the pleasure of being of being apart of the lovely Erenis' Bridal Shower last Saturday. I had been speaking to her via email for a few days. It had slipped my mind to ask for the date of the event, when I finally did on Thursday, I found out it was on Saturday! Luckily I was free and was very excited. The shower took place at the yummy restaurant Perricones. When I arrived the place looked beautiful. Perricones has such a lovely outer seating area, which you can reserve for large parties/events. The whole area was uniquely decorated, and the details were so fun.  I had an amazing time.
