NEW SITE! NEW BLOG!

Hi Everyone!!!!

I know its been FOREVER since my last post. Once again not keeping track of this thing. Tsk Tsk.

I have great news! Well...for me at least and hopefully for all my readers. As of today I will no longer be updating this site. I still plan on keeping it up for past clients for what ever reason, and stop by to look back at my own work.

Where was I? Oh yes! New Blog you say?

That is correct ladies and gents. For god knows how long I've been trying to rebrand. I even let me old website expire for a bit. Yikes. Now thank the lord everything is up and running. I'm still tweaking out some things but I'm happy to announce it's up and running. :) Even posted a new post. Hahaa.

Not going to make any promises this time. I've been trying my best to keep up with my resolutions from this year. There are about 10. Double Yikes (talk about ambitious, especially for me) and so far I have two down. One of which is my website.

So with out further adieu.....

Larissa & Anderson E-Session

Hello everyone!

About a month ago I had the pleasure of photographing two very special people. Both Larissa and Anderson were absolutely the cutest. Larissa had been thinking about ways to incorporate who they were in the session. Thats the thing about Larissa, she's jam packed with fun ideas. Did I mention she was also a wedding planner? From the straws in the orange pop to the flags for the PB&J's, Larissa had all the details ready and planned out. But as much as we tried, not everything went according to plan and we hit a few snags along the way. We got to the first location only to find out they closed earlier than the said over the phone. We had to think fast, regrouped and headed over to the next place. We also found out the place where we set up the picnic was off limits, but there was no sign and not exactly anyone to ask to begin with. Larissa and Anderson lived on the wild side and we pushed it to see how long we could stay before the next warning. Luckily for us it was long enough to get the shots and set up camp else where. Their spirits where always high and always smiling. We also thought on our feet and headed to another location where we could add a little bit of miami heat into the mix (pun intended ;) ) And even though there was a HUGE white party at the AAA and a concert at Bayside we trucked on! Walked a few blocks and started shooting again. It was such a fun time and I'm so happy and blessed we were able to be there to capture life as it was happening. I truly hope they are everything you hoped for and more Larissa, and I can't wait till the big day this September!

Part 2 of the session will be up shortly. :)

Miss Isabella

Months ago I had the pleasure of photographing Zachary Lopez. And just a few days ago (yes that means i'm almost caught up!) I had the honor of photographing Isabella Lopez. If you haven't guessed they're brother and sister. Isabella too is an aspiring actress and an awesome one at that. We hadn't seen each other in a very long time. When I saw her I was immediately transported to the first time I met her. I was visiting my first high school Theater troupe 6822. When I first transfered I went at least once a week to spend time with my friends I missed dearly. Isabella was a freshmen, and didn't know me from the previous year. She came into the costume room where me and a few others were sitting indian style chatting about life, when she asked who I was. Sure most people would say thats a pretty normal way to meet someone but it was her sweet and perky personality that made it memorable. With such curiosity and genuine interest. I replied. And she hugged me and said it was nice to meet me.

Years later I can say my opinion of Isabella has not changed but grown. She's become a beautiful young lady full of promise working hard for what she wants. From the moment we got out of our cars Isabella was talking in accents and making jokes back and fourth. I also had the pleasure of meeting her boyfriend named Zack (this is not the same as her brother also named Zach lol) who ended up being an awesome assistant. I told him if his future law career does not pan out he can make a killing assisting hahaa. No seriously very handy he distracted security twice! They were also so cute together. I couldn't help after all was said and done snapping pictures of them together.

Good Luck on Tuesday Bella! I'm sure you're going to kill it at the auditions!!!!!!

Half a Century of Pure Love!

Had the amazing pleasure of photographing a 50th year wedding anniversary! I love shooting weddings because you get to be a part of a couples first day of the rest of their lives. This past May I got to see a love thats lasted half a century and going strong. Its truly inspiring. Isn't love amazing?
They still hold hands, share a love for Mariachi music and smile at each other like it's nobodies business! I love it! I pray I'll be able to love and laugh 50 years from now next to the love of my life.

The B Family

Mrs.Lara Bukens was a teacher at the high school I attended. When I was shooting for Sugar Muffin pieces I put out a call for girls from newborn-6yrs and Lara replied sending pictures of her girls. Mackenzie and Riley are just so cute. Riley is always smiling and loves to pose being the younger sibling she likes to follow in the steps of her older sister. Convince Mackie and its all smooth sailing from there! I look forward to capturing moments for them in the future and seeing the girls grow up from session to session. Since from the first session to the last you can already see how fast they're both growing, how smart they are becoming, and how their personalities are already blossoming.

Miss Sarah

Oh Sarah! Isn't she lovely!? I met Sarah back in January and she was just so sweet. She is very down to earth and kinda shy which I think adds so much to her personality. Months after meeting we had her session, and although she's timid and speaks in a lower voice then my cuban self, she definitely doesn't show it in her pictures.

Kim Ross

Meet Kimberly Ross. Kim is an old friend from high school. We have an interesting friendship that consists of brutal honesty (I mean brutal), accents, and lots of laughing for no reason (actually its usually from a lack of sleep) Kim after high school left Miami to pursue her dream of scene design in North Carolina (I can't recall the school at the moment but do remember their mascot was a pickle). I don't say it often but I'm very proud of her and all she's already accomplished. And all I know she'll accomplish in the future.
